Our farm has been in our family for 8 generations, caring for livestock and crops. I have resources that I depend on to help me with management decisions. I work closely with an agronomist for my crops as well as a nutritionist for feeding my livestock. We have built a great relationship that goes well beyond  professional. A relationship with trust, honesty, and someone you can "bet the farm" on with their advice.

What triggered it all?
We have been bagging corn for several years and have always enjoyed talking with hunters and farmers about their experiences when they would come to pick up their order. Always listening to what they said trying to learn about their hobby/operation. What seemed to always be a common topic of discussion was animal nutrition. Now, the conversations were always a little different from a local sheep farmer compared to a deer enthusiast because of different goals, the underlying questions were always the same, and I would find myself going down the long windy road of animal nutrition, sharing my experiences and lessons I have learned from feeding large groups small ruminants for years.

I found these conversations were always very satisfying to be able to help others trying to guide them from making some of the mistakes I had made when I was just getting started. I found myself developing a passion for helping others achieve their goals.

BIO

I grew up in a small town north of Charleston, West Virginia. My parents taught me about God's word and the importance of family growing up.

My dad and grandpa introduced me to the outdoors at a young age. Those experiences grew into a passion and that passion into an obsession, not only for myself but an obsession for sharing with others about the love and experiences of the outdoors. I now have a boy of my own that I love to spend time with either in the deer woods or on the water somewhere.

I will always be a student of the outdoors as it is a continual process of learning that improves my skill as a hunter, my marksmanship, my understanding as a person, and my conservation of the outdoors and the things within it. I’m thankful that God and my family allow me to pursue my passion!

TESTIMONIAL:

I began using this feed in early spring, and I can’t say enough about its impact! As soon as I put out the first bag, the deer went wild for it.

Not only did the existing bucks flock to it, but I also noticed new ones appearing throughout the summer. The antler growth has been impressive, and the overall health of the herd has improved noticeably.

Beyond its exceptional nutritional benefits, this feed is also an excellent attractant, making it ideal for locating specific bucks. Having seen its effectiveness firsthand, I highly recommend it!

BIO

I have been hunting for over 40 years. I have over 35 deer mounts that I have harvested over the years. I have even went to Canada on a bear hunt.

5 years ago we bought a farm in Athens Ohio and I started to routinely feed deer and place trail cameras. We have harvested 2 Buckeye Big Bucks that made it to the book.

I have a shed hunting dog Muzzy, and her and I have collected over 200 sheds over the past 5 years. I have over 500 total sheds.

Keeping the tradition alive I have my nieces come down and help feed the deer and take them hunting.

I enjoy watching the deer on the cameras as they grow , to seeing them during hunting season. Hunting is my passion, and I fully enjoy the whole process of feeding watching and harvesting.

TESTIMONIAL:

Since I started using Buck Bone Builder in April 2024, I’ve been amazed by the transformation in the health of my deer and the impressive growth of their antlers. In such a short time, the difference is clear.

One of my key criteria for choosing a feed product is the quality of its ingredients. Unlike many other products where salt is the primary ingredient, Buck Bone Builder stands out with its focus on high-quality nutrients.

I have two feeding spots equipped with cameras, and the results are evident. I’ve observed significant improvements in the overall health of the deer and remarkable antler growth.

Additionally, we had a deer with a noticeable deformation in its hind left hip due to an injury. Since this deer started feeding on Buck Bone Builder, I've seen a noticeable improvement in the condition of its hip, demonstrating the feed’s impact on recovery and overall health.

GEORGE HARTMAN

PRO STAFF

I’m George Hartman and I’ve been hunting Southeastern Ohio for the past 30 years. I’ve taken many deer over those seasons including a 180” non-typical and a 164” typical. We love hunting big bucks but we also make it a season priority to fill the freezer each year as well. I’m a firm believer in “Shoot what makes you happy” and “The trophy is in the eye of the beholder”

TESTIMONIAL:

After sitting down with Curt and discussing the thought and history that went into creating Buck Bone Builder, I knew I needed to give this product a shot. It didn’t take long for my cameras to prove that deer really loved this mixture and in fact, highly preferred it over regular corn. I’m excited to be a part of this team and looking forward to what the future holds!
